Sea Story

A meaningful and relevant story is the basis of this original Dance, Drama and musical resource for primary School teachers, youth workers and home educators. This course (of six-seven 45 minute long sessions) has been successfully tried and tested and is suitable for children at the end of Key stage one (5-7 yrs).

In the story, a child looking for a safe place to be and therefore undertakes a journey across the sea. Despite treacherous weather, fear and loneliness, the child's determination, hope, and a little magic, all ensure a happy ending.

The pack includes a book featuring lesson plans, detailed links with the National Curriculum and the Foundation Stage Profile, Songs, Music and Dance Sheets and Evaluations, a CD of nine original, tailor made musical compositions, and illustrations, original artwork to accompany each session (suitable for enlargement).
